One Day.....

When I am older and hopefully have a daughter about to be married I will look back and think about what the time before my own marriage was like. Two words will probably jump straight to my mind...Panic....and Attack! So I have less than 4 weeks to go right now... YEAY because I honestly can't wait to be married and DOUBLE YEAY because all this crap will be OVER! I'm glad I did things the way I did with my wedding but if I had to do all over again I would probably NOT do it the same way. I'm proud of the things my mother and I have made and am grateful for the time I've gotten to spend with her but somedays I wish I had just let someone else handle all the details. Really and truly I am ready for the wedding....its the whole "having to move two hours away and clean my apartment while trying to finish everything for the wedding and look for a new job all in less than four weeks" bit that has me quite flustrated!

It would be one thing if I could just pack EVERYTHING up and sort it out after I got moved.....but NOOOOO...things can't possibly be THAT easy! Instead I'm having to try to figure out how to get rid of a couch, a kitchen table, two bookshelves, a computer table, and exercise bike, a microwave, and other assorted things. You see I've lived in my apartment for the last 2 years and been "out of the house" for 6 almost 7 years so I've accumulated a lot of crap. I'm a hoarder...I admit it..... Then there is my fiance who has been "out of the house" for....mmm....10 years or so.....he's a hoarder.....can you see where this is leading?!

I've even gotten to the point where I just want to throw EVERYTHING (except for the pink tub full of momentos) away! Thankfully I only have four more days of work left and a busy weekendd and then the next week I only have a hair appointment before I can truly sit down and pack before running two hours away one day to unload crap at the new place and then I have a weekend of meeting with the preacher one last time and moving ABSOLUTELY everything that is left then three days of cleaning followed by a bachelorette party and the then its the week of the wedding and why did I think I had enough time for all of this!?

You Capture: Motion

Ok so I admit I am really bad about getting rid of blurry pictures. A blur of ANY kind and its gone, so this challenge was particularly hard for me and then I remembered 'hey! motion could mean different things to different people, as well as look different.' So after having said that here are my pics. I did pull from my files as I'm swamped with things to do lately, but I promise to try harder next time! Ok so the evil evil lady over at "I should be folding laundry" (ok she's not really evil) asked that this weeks project be photographing ourselves. I could have fallen back on all the profile pictures I have taken of myself but thats not the point of the challenge. So forgive my wet hair, I had just gotten out of the shower after work and my hair is WAY to long for me but I'm getting married in two months so I'm growing it out...can't wait to cut it! Hope you like my pics!

You Capture

So my friends and I went to Holiday World on Saturday and I thought "Hey what a perfect time to do the "you capture" assignment. I will post more about the trip later but I wanted to post a few pics that I absloutely loved!

I must confess....

I am super excite by the face that I found a missing memory card! I thought I had deleted these pictures and was so depressed cause they were some of my favorites of my kitty and I had never even gotten them printed!! But hoo-rah for the fact that I found it today! I was actually getting my bag ready for the Holiday World trip (two more days woot!) when *rattle rattle* "whats this?" says I. "Why its a memory card! What do you suppose is on it?" I pondered. "Lets have a look-see shall we!" I say to my cat as I pop it in my camera...."Why it's you Ghost!" I exclaimed. I was so happy to have found these pictures.....normally he is just to nosy to take pictures of but outside he kind of mellows out and well you get the point...YEAY!!!

Girls Weekend Out!

Ok so we acutally haven't had one of these in oh.....almost....6 years I guess it is now....sheesh I feel old....and I'm not. Anyway, I'm getting married in October and moving slightly away (only two hours but you know....) and so we decided we would re-create the trip we took after being newly graduated. Holiday World here we come! Granted we've added....well I guess right now we've added only one person to the original trip.....it had been up to four but plans change and people cancel. So I have my swimsuit (check), and I have my clothes for the regular park (check), have my shoes figured out (check), know which camera i'm taking (not checked) Oh crap thats right! I DON"T know which camera I'm taking! This is where I run into a delima...isn't it sad! So I have a digital Cannon Rebel that I love! It feels impossible to take a bad picture with it but come on.....do I really want to lug a full size camera around a theme park for oh...lets say eight hours? No not really..... Option 2: I have a small Nikon digital cam that goes with me everywhere...even to work. (I work in a factory) And it takes awesome pictures it really does. Not as good as my Cannon but awesome none the less.....Option 3: I buy a disposable not wanting to risk damage to either of my good cameras.....and a waterproof disposal at that.....what to do what to do! Three more days to decide.

Test Post/This weeks You Capture

Ok so I popped on over to the blog "I Should Be Folding Laundry" (thanks so much CakeWrecks...cause I need another blog to follow) when what do I stumble upon!? A photography sharing community?! For those of you who know me you KNOW this just yanked my chain in the right way so I'm going to try this and see how it goes! I need to make a late night run to Wally-world for a card reader cause I only have my laptop (I'm in the proccess of moving) and it doesn't have a slot for CF cards. Boo!! So instead you get an old picture of mine.
